In the summer after my freshman year at college, having a full year of circuits classes, i decided i wanted to try my hand at building an Octavia, an octave-doubling fuzz effects box for an electric guitar. I didn't use the best methods or components, so the rather unique tone this thing creates prompted me to rename it "The Nasty Fuzz".
