after i got a Real Job, i started getting a Real Paycheck. in '99, since i was still living with two roommates and eating like a college student i had plenty of money floating around, and i dropped the most i ever spent on a guitar on a beautiful Paul Reed Smith --- the McCarty Soapbar Goldtop, $1600 --- at a music store outside memphis. i love this guitar, as my expression shows. the pictures are from 25 april 99 (a week or two after the happy purchase)
