i've always been a bit upset that we never got pictures of the making of concealed by shadows or brad's sleeping, so i decided it would be a good idea to get some in progress shots of whatever we're going to call this new demo, recorded in the new and improved Muppet Labs Studios.

these are from the afternoon of saturday, 4 october 2003, while kk, kaeff, and chappy put down the basic tracks for "Exposure", with tessa singing scratch vocals into the headphone monitors. the basement is windowless, so it looks like the middle of the night, even though it was about two in the afternoon. the low light made it a little difficult to shoot without flash, so i apologize for the blur and grain.

for isolation we had the bass amp in the computer room, with tessa, and the guitar amps off in the storage room.
